Point a camera at the scoreboard. Your graphics keep up, to the tenth.
ScoreSync reads the clock, score, down and distance off your stadium or gym scoreboard and runs ProScoreboard for you. No console cable, no serial adapter, nobody typing in scores.
- Apple Silicon Mac
- macOS 13 or later
- Runs offline
- DeckLink or any camera
Draw a box around each number. That's the setup.
Every field shows what the camera sees and the value it accepted, so you can trust what goes to air. Save the layout as a venue preset and it's ready next game.
Three steps before kickoff
Point a camera at the board
Feed it through a Blackmagic DeckLink, a USB capture device or any camera your Mac sees. Lock the shot off and you're done with hardware.
Box each number
Drag a box around the clock, scores, quarter and the rest. Pick 7-segment for LED digits or Text for a video board.
Turn on Send to ProScoreboard
ScoreSync connects to ProScoreboard's Web Remote on the same Mac. From then on the graphics follow the board by themselves.
Everything on the board
LED digit scoreboards and video boards both work. You choose which fields to read.

Ads and dead batteries
When an ad covers the board, the board goes dark or the camera loses power, ScoreSync holds the last good values and picks back up by itself when the board returns.
Every tenth
ProScoreboard's clock follows the board tenth by tenth in the last minute. If the board drops out while the clock runs, ProScoreboard keeps counting on its own.
No cables
ScoreSync talks to ProScoreboard over its built-in Web Remote. Play Clock and Ball On are filled in through macOS Accessibility.
Misread protection
A score has to change the way scores change, or hold steady for a few seconds, before it goes to air. Numbers in an ad never reach your graphics.
LED or video board
7-segment mode reads LED digits. Text mode reads video boards with Apple's on-device text recognition. Timeouts can be numbers or hash marks.
Set up once per venue
Save each stadium or gym as a preset. Export your settings to a file and import them on another Mac.
Also sends a Daktronics All Sport 5000 serial feed, JSON and text files, and a local web feed for other graphics systems.

FAQ
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Reading the board, the text recognition and the connection to ProScoreboard all happen on your Mac.
Will it read my scoreboard?
It reads LED digit scoreboards and video boards. You draw a box around each number once and save it as a venue preset. A locked-off camera with the digits at least 40 pixels tall works best.
What happens when an ad covers the board?
ScoreSync stops sending, keeps the last good values in ProScoreboard and lets a running game clock keep counting. It picks back up as soon as the board reads cleanly again. You choose how long it waits before alerting you: 30 seconds to 4 minutes, or no limit.
Do I need a serial cable or a console interface?
No. ScoreSync uses ProScoreboard's built-in Web Remote. If you'd rather use a cable, it can also send a Daktronics All Sport 5000 serial feed.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 13 Ventura or later. Intel Macs aren't supported.
Is ScoreSync made by Renewed Vision?
No. ScoreSync is an independent app that works with ProScoreboard.
